Online Course Enrolment for The University of Edinburgh

Enroll students onto courses with ease and joy using our software! You can choose between the DPT validated or non-validated routes.

Academic and administrative staff can have a blast viewing and managing student course enrolments through the cheerful Assessment tab in the Student Hub. Simply hit the Edit button above the current course enrolments and you're good to go!

With the Student Hub Assessment Tab, editing course enrolments is a breeze! Just click the 'Edit' button and you're ready to make some changes.

If the student is in their second year or higher, you'll be asked to select the academic year you want to edit enrolments for. Select the current academic year and you'll be presented with the "Programme for a Student" table. From here, you'll be able to:

View the Published DPT for the student's Programme of Study by clicking the program's name.
Check the student's Course Enrollment Status
    Submit DPT validated Course Enrollments
Edit Course Enrollments without DPT validation
View the Student's Timetable, either through the 'Semester 1' and 'Semester 2' links or through the 'Web Timetable' link.

With the "Programme for a Student" screen in EUCLID, you have the option to add enrolments validated by the student's DPT or take the non-validated route.

In some cases, generating the student's enrolments first may be necessary before making any changes. This step is required if the program's DPT doesn't automatically seed compulsory courses or if seeding hasn't taken place for the student. If the student's enrolments need to be generated, you'll see a message in the 'Course Enrollment (validated by DPT rules)' column and a 'Generate Enrollments' link under 'Course Enrollment Status'.

If you need to add elective courses, simply click the 'Generate course enrollment' link. This will enroll the student in any compulsory courses listed in the DPT for their program and prepare the background records needed to enroll in elective courses. Now, you can enroll the student in their preferred elective courses using either the 'DPT Validated Enrollment' route or the 'Edit Course Enrollments' option. Happy enrolling!
