Doctoral programs at University of Phoenix are available in several areas, including business, management, psychology, technology and health administration.* All programs are designed by academic professionals, often in collaboration with industry professionals, to ensure quality, relevance and rigor. The doctoral programs at University of Phoenix are designed to be intellectually challenging and applicable to real-world work experiences. For educational leaders and teachers, University of Phoenix offers four doctoral programs in education:
Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership
Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership/Curriculum and Instruction
Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership/Educational Technology
PhD in Higher Education Administration
Students must meet specific admissions requirements in order to enroll in one of the doctoral programs at University of Phoenix. Requirements vary by individual doctoral program, but all doctoral learners enrolled in a Ph.D. program must complete residency requirements and write a dissertation.
Doctoral degree programs are offered online, enabling you to attend class any time and anywhere, but they do require several residencies. No matter which doctoral program you choose, you'll learn from and interact five days a week with faculty members who have advanced degrees and real-world experience.
